Zhongbo Yuan Energy Technology's 250MW/1000MWh Independent Shared Energy Storage Project Phase I Connected to the Grid

On August 10th, according to Beiyuan Electric, the first phase of the Zhongboyuan Energy Technology 250MW/1000MWh independent shared energy storage project located in Donglebeitan, Shandan County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, has recently completed grid connection.

It is reported that the 250MW/1000MWh independent shared energy storage project of Shandan County Zhongboyuan Energy Technology Co., Ltd. has a total investment of about 630 million yuan for the first phase of the 50MW/200MWh energy storage project. The energy storage system uses vanadium flow batteries produced by V-flow, which consists of 16 sets of 3MW/12MWh energy storage subsystems and 1 set of 2MW/8MWh energy storage subsystem.

After being connected to the grid, the new energy project supporting energy storage devices of the million kilowatt photovoltaic power generation base in Dongle Beitan, Shandan County can be centrally constructed and managed. Through unified scheduling, dynamic aggregation, and flexible regulation of the power grid, it is conducive to adjusting the peak valley balance of the power grid, effectively improving the regional new energy consumption capacity and level, and exploring new ways for energy storage technology to deeply participate in power grid regulation.
