On Jun 17th, CHN Energy Group Ningxia Coal Industry Co Ltd α-olefins separation process improvement & engineering scale-up project was placed online for publicity prior to approval.
To realize C6 /C8 mixtures fine separation and provide technical support for the consequent production of high quality C6 and C8 α-olefins, the company plans to procced the “α-olefins separation process improvement & engineering scale-up project” (“the project”), using part of the C6 and C8 mixtures of different concentration, produced from existing 8000t/a α-olefins coarse separation unit as raw materials for the αolefins fine separation process pilot (the raw material from coarse separation is oil-washed naphtha of C4~C12 carbon number distributed and, besides the C6 and C8 mixtures used in the project, the rest C6/C8 as well as other carbon number fractions would all recycled to hydrogenation unit for cleaning and quality modification, becoming stable and low-impurity paraffins/oil phase components before returning back to the system as raw material for reuse).
POE, PBE & α-olefins innovation forum 2026 is to be held on Jul 30th-31st in Lianyungang, Jiangsu. The conference, hosted by ASIACHEM, is to explore and discuss POE, PBE & α-olefin key processes & industry progresses. The event would also organize a visit to Lianyungang PC industry base & new material pilot base.
