On Jun 22nd, Levima New Technology (003022.SZ) expressed on its investor interactive platform that the company’s POE unit was currently at trial production stage; and the PPC unit had successfully put in production, with the product being in promotion.
News reported in May that Levima Wisong polyolefin elastomer project phase I engineering had entered the general ending stage and the formal commissioning was planned for the month. By completion and put in operation, the project would effectively fill the blank of domestic high-end POE material production, helping the promotion of Chinese new material industry local substitution.
Levima Wisong 300kt/a polyolefin elastomer project is a CNY5.2bn investment to be fulfilled in two phases, phase I to install 100kt/a polyolefin elastomer unit as the core facility of the project. Polyolefin elastomer is a key basic raw material used in high-end new energy and new material fields, featuring of excellent weather resistance, flexibility & processing performance, widely applicable for PV adhesive film, and car parts manufacture etc. Once the project reaches full load operation, it should further enlarge Taixing Economy Developing Zone new material industry cluster capacities, continuously empowering the coordinated development of up-/downstream industries such as new energy and high-end equipment manufacturing etc.
POE, PBE & α-olefins innovation forum 2026 is to be held on Jul 30th-31st in Lianyungang, Jiangsu. The conference, hosted by ASIACHEM, is to explore and discuss POE, PBE & α-olefin key processes & industry progresses. The event would also organize a visit to Lianyungang PC industry base & new material pilot base.
